I.     Cancellations

School Year

If you give at least 24-hour notice, you will not be charged for canceling a session.  Without 24-hour notice, payment for the missed session will be billed.  If you are late to the session, the session will still end at the appointed time, and you will still be charged for a full session. All missed days due to holidays/breaks/vacations will be communicated as soon as possible.

Summer/Weekend Drop Ins

Once you request set days/times during the summer schedule or weekend drop ins, and those days/times are confirmed, there are no cancellations.

II.     Payment Schedule/Fees

Payment method will be decided prior to service. Clients can pay per session or can pay via monthly invoices. Invoice payments are expected within 7 days of the received invoice. Fees depend on services and will be quoted during initial meeting/updated annually. Session times end 5 minutes before allotted time. The rate includes the initial intake, assessments, goal development, one-on-one sessions, written reports, meetings, and communication (via email, phone, in person) over 5 minutes prorated in 5-minute increments. Group sessions are set at a different fee depending on the number of students. Materials used will be included in the invoice, which will be estimated and approved before purchase. All sessions are held at Kim Donellan’s location, unless travel is mutually agreed upon for a set rate.

III.     Illness

In order to respect everyone’s health, no sessions will be conducted in person when either party is sick or shows symptoms of being sick. The 24-hour policy still applies. If a session is still wanted while sick, virtual/Skype sessions will be offered, if possible.

IV.     End of Services

A strong relationship is formed when working together.  Abrupt termination of services damages that relationship and can be hurtful to a child.  Thus, when parents decide that it is time to end services for any reason, three weeks from the day of notice is required, and it must include at least three closing sessions.  This is to allow time for final assessments and to allow appropriate time to close sessions, setting the student up for success.
